Bichon Frise is about the same size of a large cat, weighing 7 to 18 pounds and about 9 1/2 - 11 1/2 inches. This breed is a good lap/ companion dog because they are gentle, sensitive, playful, cheerful and affectionate. They are also full of energy and crave activity in small packages.

The Bichon Frise has a curly overcoat over a soft and dense undercoat. This coat must be carefully and regularly groomed because the coat sheds slowly and infrequently.

Something you might want to remember is that these are characteristics and can only provide a general clue to what the dog many be like and it’s general behaviour. A large part of a dog’s behaviour is based on it’s life experiences and there living environment both growing up and through they whole life.
